Filtering Cells from Linkedin Contacts

Hello,

I recently exported my Linkedin connections to a CSV File. I am trying to organize the list by company in alphabetical, but I can't seem to filter the cells, as when I organize the company list, it doesn't match the contacts to the change. All the contacts remain in the same place, but the companies now line up in alphabetical order. Is there any way to order the Company cells alphabetically and also move the corresponding columns too (First Name, Last Name, etc.) so that it matches with the company list? I can send over the CSV file if anyone has a clue thanks!

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
vkolar1318, Good evening.

Did you select ALL columns and ask for sort by Company Name and things happened wrong?

If no, try to do this.

If yes, it's not common.
Then try to save your file ata a free site, www.sendspace.com and put a link here to download.

I hope it helps.

vkolar1318, Good afternoon.

I downloaded your .CSV file and imported it into the Excel spreadsheet.

I have sorted the spreadsheet columns by Company Name, First Name and Last Name.
I did not notice any fault in the classification.

There are many cells without the company name filled in and with other information in place of the name.

It has 379 lines with unfilled company name.
There are 12,650 lines in total.

The result:

Is that what you want?
I hope it helps.
