Can someone help me because i am a little stuck and have no-one round here to ask.

I have set up a spreadsheet that contains account information for the past year. I need to filter it to a month by month basis, the date format is set as DD/MM/YYYY. How do i filter the sheet so that i can get all of January's information, all of February's information etc.

Many thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
IN a spare columns use the formula

=Month(a1) (where A1 contains the date)

and fill down

Jan=1
Feb=2
etc

then filter on this column
