Filtering dates?

Hi,
I have a complex workbook which holds data over a 6 week period for every calendar month (to take into consideration the odd month when the 1st lies on a sunday and the 31st lies on a monday).
Is there any way to apply a filter for the weeks that contain a combination of dates from the previous/next month and current month, to ignore data that does not belong to that month?
e.g
<Friday 31/5/11.....Saturday 1/6/11.....Sunday 2/6/11......Week 1 June Total
<.....£1000...............1000....................1000................2000
The above has an auto sum covering the 7 columns of data but I would want to ignore the 5 columns in May...
(Some of the calculations in the "Total" column are far more complex with arrays etc)
Probably too complex but worth an ask!
Hannah
