Filtering Issue

Hi All,

May be my problem is small, but I could not find a solution for that.

When I do filtering and try to apply (fill color) a color to filtered column it is not possible.

Eg:

01. Data are only in coumn A from A1 to A10.
02. I filter using some criterea and it filters 5 records.
03. I highlight the filtered data.
04. I click on the yellow color to fill color and it takes no color

Anyone has an idea the reason for this and the way I shoud do it?

I can select one by one cells using (Ctrl key) and color them, but when there are lots of data it is not possible.

What version of XL are you using? Are there any protections on the sheet?

I've tried this a few times and no problems. Are you sure there are no protections on the sheet? How are you performing the selection?

You cannot attach an actual file, but you post small screen shots. Here are a few ways to do so:
