I have an issue with filtering. I have a set of data that has multiple rows (Company Number, Multiple Accounts) example:

Company Number 300 Account 1000
Account 2000
Account 3000

Company Number 400 Account 1000
Account 2000
Account 3000

Is it possible with an advanced filter or macro to filter by the company number and still keep all the accounts? Maybe somehow with grouping? I am completely stumped.
Thanks

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
You could possibly put your data in a pivot table and you should have this ability.

I tried to get my data into a pivot table but I keep having problems with the blank lines. How do I get both of my accounts to be grouped by company number? I keep getting (blank) in my pivot table.

Thanks for your help!
