I have a set of spreadsheets that work correctly when I enter manually the 1st Sunday for the month. I have a cell where I input the Month name & would like to find a formula that can calculate the date for the 1st Sunday of the Month based on the name of the month input into the Cell.

The Month name is in cell A1
The desired date for 1st Sunday of the Month is to be put into cell A3
Can anyone help with this?

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
the below works for me

=(EOMONTH("1 "&A1,-1)+1)+(7-(WEEKDAY(EOMONTH("1 "&A1,-1)+1,2)))
