Good morning. I am new to this forum, so this question may have already been asked, but here goes:

I have a list of 13 digit account numbers in column A of my spreadsheet and need to find only those account numbers where the second digit is a "1". I want the results to appear in column B. I am stumped and will appreciate any suggestions for formulas. Thanks for any help.

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
try dis in B1 if you are data starts from A1 so on..

=IF(--MID(A1,2,1)=1,A1,"")
