Hi Please could you help.
Im looking for some VBA code or solution to how to update some data sheets.

I have one workbook that contains over 2000 rows of resource data
I have another workbook that contains just a few lines of data which needs to be updated / replace the data in the first big workbook.

The ID/ref would be in Column A for both this is the name of the resource
However the data to be replaced could be in 1 column or more - its 12 columns long and the cells will either be blank or have something in them, basically if they have data in them it needs to replace what ever is in the matching columns in the large workbook/worksheet.

Manually I would do a Find for the resource name in column A then copy the data out of the respective column/cell for that row in the main large workbook.
Im just wondering how I can do this automatically?

Any help much appreciated. Thank you

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Hi,
Turn on your macro recorder ... and go once through your process ... you will get a "VBA translation" of your actions .... a good starting point ...
