Hi

This is probably the simplest of questions. Windows 7 - Excel 2013

I have a spreadsheet extracted from a database - one of the columns holds information separated by ", " I would like this rather than in one long line to be 1 item above the next in the same cell - Find ", " and replace with "ALT+ENTER" - is there any simple way or code that I can use for "ALT+ENTER"?

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Hi geofspa,

Simply replace the "," with vblf, i.e., a linefeed character.

For example,

[d5]=replace([d5],",",vblf)

will separate all the comma-separated text in cell D5 into separate lines in D5.
