Hi, I'm working on Excel 2003. I need to find the average of the absolute values of values in column H only if column C contains the word "Correction"
I tried doing AVERAGEIF(ABS(C2:C90, "=CORRECTION", H2:H90) but I'm probably way off.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the board..

You can't apply a function like ABS to the average range in AverageIF

Try this array formula entered with CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER

=AVERAGE(IF(C2:C90="Correction",ABS(H2:H90)))
