How can I find duplicate items in a sheet.. Example..

I have a sheet that has a series of numbers

1112
1114
1115
1119
2223
3434
2222
2222
1112

I need to sort and delete 1112 because it has been entered twice

also with alphabets too..

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.

Use Advanced Filter to copy the list to a different location (unique entries only). Delete the original list and copy back.

Try this:
Book4
ABCDEF
111121
211141
311151
411191
522231
634341
722221
822222
911122
10
11
12
13
14
15
16
17
18
Sheet2

You can then use an autofilter on column B for values greater than 1 and delete them.
