Find help!

All of a sudden when I try to "FIND" (ctrl + F) I get the error message:
Microsoft Office Excel cannot find the data you're searching for.

I know that the data is there. If I search a single number or letter I get this message. Something is wrong!

You're probably searching with the "Match entire cell" selection ticked. Try unticking that and seeing if it works as you'd expect.
