I just know set f= sheets(1).range("A:A").find(x). What if I want to find from sheet 1 through 3 for x? Is it possible? Thanks.

Hi,
One way maybe

Code:
    Dim i As Integer
    Dim f As Range
    For i = 1 To 3
        Set f = Sheets(i).Range("A:A").Find(x)
If Not f Is Nothing Then
'record found do stuff
        Else
'record not found
        End If
        Set f = Nothing
    Next i

suggestion assumes that sheets are the first three sheets in your workbook.
