Good morning

while entering a text string in cell B1 a list of all entries of a name list (A2:A100) which content my entry string should appear in a "flying list". From this I should be able to select the name I wish to place in cell B1.

I saw that somewhere. Unfortunately I don't know where. I think they used a list box plus a kind of text field in order to react with each keystroke.

Can you help me with that, please?

Diana

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Do you need this? Enter key word and there will be a list that contains the key word?

Thank you, but No, I was thinking of a textbox and a listbox, both with the width of the cell B1.

Any suggestions?
