Hi,

Please can someone help me?

I would like a VBA code that can look at a textbox text from a command button on the same userform and can identify a certain word.

for example:

Textbox2 text = Hello, how are you?

The trigger word is "how"

So because the word "how" is in there a message box appears saying yes.

If the word "how" doesn't appear in the textbox2 then nothing happens.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
How about
VBA Code:
If InStr(1, Me.TextBox2, "how", vbTextCompare) Then MsgBox "Yes"
