Find value in array and return value in first column of array

Here is a brief description of what I am trying to do: I have data located in F2:L13. I am trying to find a value in G2:L13 and return the value located in the first column of my array (F).

It's not very clear to me what you are trying to do, van you post some sample data along with expected results.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

On the 'Round Robin' sheet, in the K column, is where this formula will be located. I am trying to find X7 in 'Schedule' G3:L13 and return the time located in F3:F13.

=INDEX(F3:F13,AGGREGATE(15,6,(ROW(F3:F13)-ROW(F3)+1)/(G3:L13=X7),1))

This returned a value '0.75'

You need to format the cell as Time.
