I'm trying to come up with a formula in cell A1 where the value divided by B1 equals C1... I guess this is algebra. Seems so simple, but I haven't figured it out.

x / 12500 = 1.07

??

12500

1.07

Or maybe it should be stated differently?

Okay, I see now that my problem is actually incomplete. Here is the setup of my worksheet:

A​	B​	C​	D​	E​	F​
10001	x	1.07	13405	12500	1.07

So here, D1/E1 = F1. 1.07 is the desired result.

I need a formula in B1 to make C1/A1 = 1.07 The desired result in C1 should match F1. What number divided by 10001 = 1.07? I hope this makes sense.

I see that A1 * F1 = 1.07. The problem is that this formula doesn't carry forward accurately to other cells.
