I need to insert a block of text in a spreadsheet two rows below the last entry in a colum...the entries in the column will vary, so the column may have more information sometimes less others.

Hope this explains it okay...thanks alot.

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
May I ask what function "NextRow =" serves in the code?

NextRow = Range("A65536").End(xlUp).Offset(2, 0)

Sure, NextRow is a variable to hold the next row number.... you don't necessarily need it... just depends on your coding style.
