Finding Highest and Lowest Value

I am looking for a way to find the highest and lowest value within a selected range of data. I would preferably like for the highest and lowest values to be highlighted somehow within the data range. Thanks in advance.

Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.

Hi

How do you want them highlighted??? The MAX and MIN functions should find the numbers, but how do you want them actioned? Macro? Conditional Formatting?

There are two methods I can think of...

1. Using the MIN and MAX functions built into Excel and conditional formatting

2. Write a macro that will do it for you (must be triggered somehow though)

Is the range static or dynamic?
