Hi, my current workbook is saying that it contains a data link to an old sheet. I want to remove all previous connections. However, I've Ctrl+F the whole document and find no reference to the worksheet anywhere. I also tried to break the link to it but excel is refusing to. I'm assuming that the link is within a cell that's been Data Validated to a List where the list is contained in the old sheet (from a former copy/paste). Is there a way to find and destroy this old link?!!?

Thanks

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
My best advice for this type of problem is to download and use Bill Manville's very excellent "FindLink.xla" add-in, which is available at his site. A quick search will turn it up. It's trustworthy, reliable, and I've used it for several years with excellent results. It will even find the presence of hidden range names (which you will have to resolve with other means, but at least you can find 'em now). Highly recommended.
