I'M LOOKING FOR A WAY TO HIGHLIGHT,BOLD, OR FORMAT A VALUE THAT IS THE LARGEST OF A SELECTED GROUP OF CELLS.

EXAMPLE: I HAVE VALUES ENTERED IN ROW 19 COLLUMNS C THRU N.
I WANT TO MAKE THE LARGEST NUMBER BOLD.

I HAVE TRIED USING CONDITIONAL FORMATIING - ENTERING =A2=MAX(2:2)

WHAT IS A2 REFFERING TO? CELL A2? HOW ABOUT (2:2) BOLD?

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.

The formula that you need to use should be:

=C19=MAX($C$19:$N$19)
