# Finding MIN date in a range of incomplete data

Hello,

I am having difficulty finding a solution to make a range dynamic. I found my total row by using MATCH("Totals:",A2:A100,1)+1). Because I want to add addtional rows to the range (up to 100), I want to find the MIN of that range and I tried using this formula: MIN (A2:A&MATCH("Totals:",A2:A100,1)+1) but I get an error. Is there a solution outside of VBA that will allow me to keep the function dynamic?

Any input will help.

Thanks!

### Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},\$Z\$1:\$Z\$99,\$Y\$1:\$Y\$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

Hello

Try:
Code:
``[COLOR=#222222]=MIN[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000dd](A2:INDEX[/COLOR][COLOR=#222222](A:A,MATCH[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000dd]("Totals:",A2:A100,0)[/COLOR][COLOR=#222222]+1)[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000dd])[/COLOR]``
