Hi all,
I have an issue I can't seem to resolve and it's more to do with Math than Excel but hey there could be a formula involved right!
I have the following table:<table class="html-maker-worksheet" border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><thead></thead><tbody><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;text-align: center;font-style: italic;text-decoration: underline;;">Month</td><td style="font-weight: bold;text-align: center;font-style: italic;text-decoration: underline;;">Value</td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Dec-10</td><td style="font-weight: bold;text-align: right;color: #C00000;;"> 3,381.0</td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Jan-11</td><td style="font-weight: bold;text-align: right;color: #C00000;;"> 3,003.3</td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Feb-11</td><td style="font-weight: bold;text-align: right;color: #C00000;;"> 2,959.3</td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Mar-11</td><td style="font-weight: bold;text-align: right;color: #C00000;;"> 2,834.5</td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Apr-11</td><td style="font-weight: bold;text-align: right;color: #C00000;;"> 2,756.2</td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">May-11</td><td style="font-weight: bold;text-align: right;color: #C00000;;"> 2,719.4</td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Jun-11</td><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Jul-11</td><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Aug-11</td><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Sep-11</td><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Oct-11</td><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;;">Nov-11</td><td></td></tr><tr><td style="font-weight: bold;border-bottom: 1px solid black;;">Dec-11</td><td></td></tr><tr><td style="border-top: 1px solid black;font-style: italic;;">Year Average</td><td style="text-align: right;border-top: 1px solid black;;"> 2,650.0Excel 2007
I have the Average figure I need to achieve as well as the first 6 "Actual" figures. What I need to get is a "forecast" of sorts for the remaining months of the year to get me to the annual mean average of 2650.
Any ideas?
