Hi all,
I have a cyclic data sheet from where I need to get only the peak value in each cycle. Here's a sample of the data.

I have filtered only the positive part here. Same needs to be done for the negative cycles. Any help on the matter is highly apppreciated.
Thank you

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
That looks fairly easy to do, but you haven't given us enough information to help you:
Where is the data i.e which columns or rows.
It looks like that data always goes back to zero; is this correct and is it actually zero or only somewhere near zero?
Where do you want the results and how do you want them displayed,
Do you need the X axis value as well as the y axis value
Are you happy with a VBA solution or do you need to do it with functions

Hi, thank you for the kind reply.
I have attached a google drive link to the file for your better understanding.
1. The data here starts from zero and ends in zero for each cycle. But has different peaks for each cycle.
2. I want the peak Y values and corresponding X values. I was wondering if I could get the values in the same excel sheet.
3. Any solution is highly appreciated.

Thanks again for taking time to reply.

the really easy way to do that is: using the filter that you already have copy the positive values to a new sheet ( or anywhere suitable) I have assumed columns A to C in a new sheet
put this equation in D3 :
=AND(C3>C2,C3>C4)
and copy it down
Then filter on the value TRUE in column D, this gives all the details you want.
If you want a VBA solution I could do that but this way is so easy it depends on whether you need to repeat it all the time
