Hi all, new to this forum as looking for a place where real life people can help.

Ok so here goes-

I have a large set of (text) data and in one specific column there is a varying list of different status codes in each row. These status codes are random, but do have a pattern I'd like to be able to mark across all the data where possible.

Eg of status codes and pattern I'd like to be able to identify on mass

Cell A1 = Performance
Cell A2 = Outbound aux
Cell A3 = Outbound call
Cell A4 = Ready
Cell A5 = Outbound aux
Cell A6 = Performance

The pattern I'd like to mark a '1' against whenever it occurs is when Outbound aux is seen and then no Outbound call occurs directly after it in the next cell below.

So in summary- if the pattern is seen between Cells A2-A3 then I'm not interested and do not want to mark this, only when something like A5 occurs and Outbound call is not the next event in the list.

Hope that makes sense all and thanks for any help you send my way.
