Help

I have a spsh and in some of the records there is a particular word that appears in one of the column/fields (the field actually contains descriptions and the word I am looking for would appear as part of the description - not in isolation that would allow me to sort). I need to identify records that have that particular word in that particular field and somehow distinguish those records in a way that allows me to sort on that basis.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hello,

Try

=IF(ISERROR(FIND(B1,A1)),"NO MATCH","MATCH")

where B1 is the word you're looking for, and A1 is the cell, you can then sort.
