Hi
I know ctrl+home is to take you to A1 but lets say I have a table start from D10 to H100 and if I am anywhere in the table how can I go to cell D10 (the first cell in the table) using shortcut key? Thank you.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
The only thing I know works is to use CTRL+{left arrow} and then CTRL+{up arrow}. If your mouse is in the 1st column, you only need CTRL+{up arrow}.
Similarly, if you're in the first row (or header row), CTR+{left arrow} will do it. As far as I know, there isn't a one-command-shortcut to do the same as CTRL+{home}

I think CTRL+. (that is the period or dot character) works in a table like it does in a selection... first stop is upper left corner (repeated pushes takes you clockwise to the other corners). Note that only one cell within the table can be selected for this to work otherwise the multi-cell selection is used rather than the table itself.
