Hello!

Is it possible to keep sheet references/ connections?

Example:
If I have a worksheet Sheet2 which retrieves data from Sheet1 and I need to exchange Sheet1.

Cell A1 in Worksheet "Sheet2" A1=Sheet1!B2

When I delete Sheet1, then all cells change to #ref and I loose the connection.

A1=#Ref!B2

Is it possible to delete Sheet1 and then add a new worksheet calling it Sheet1, without loosing the connection or the cells keeping it also as =Sheet1!

Thank you!

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Hi Ted. As far as I know, when you delete a sheet, you loose all references to it even if the new sheet has the same name.

Why delete the sheet in the first place?

Instead of deleting Sheet1, just Clear it's contents, then you're free to reload new data into it while preserving formulas that refer to that sheet.
