Hi All,

I have a userform with the modal setting changed so that it stays open
on screen whilst the rest of my code is running.

The userform has a shockwave flash object added and the swf movie
happily plays when you f8 step thru the code, however when it gets to
code the requires some processing (ie running a SQL extract), the
image locks.

This means that when you play the code real time (not step thru), the
image is permanently locked.

Any ideas how to get around this?

I used to have an avi file in an animation control, but a recent MS
patch has made this control no-longer a trusted source which is why
i'm now going down the flash route.

Thanks for your help in advance. :)
