I am using Excel to control a Work Order log. This consists of a wide range of jobs and functions (over 12000 jobs and 300000 cells presently). Often I have jobs that sit dormant waiting on other personnel to make decisions on the disposition of the job.
I need to have a cell in the row that is associated with the particular job. "flash" (inverse)and print out a reminder report, after a period of 60 days, to alert myself that this job is stagnent and needs attention.
I am not savvy in Visual Basic, but old Commodore Microsoft Basic it would go something like;
If O17 [ REM status of job ] = 6 or O17 = 2 and DATE [REM today date] is greater than H17 [ REM starting date ] + 60 , then FLASH O17 and Print B17, C17, H17 [ REM flash cell O17 and output message to printer ].
