I've searched YouTube and Google looking for assistance, but not finding a satisfactory response anywhere. Hoping you folks may suggest a solution.

I have a monthly tab where I need to log daily entries and forecast dates for upcoming activities. Since the table takes up the first 8 columns, I want to put the current month's calendar in the right third of the screen. For this, I'm using an MS add-in.

The problem I have is that as I scroll down in my table, the calendar very quickly scrolls out of sight. So, I'm looking for a way to float the calendar above the table as it scrolls underneath. Since the calendar itself overlays about 10 rows, splitting the screen would limit the data table visibility.

I was hoping I could attach the calendar to an image and then use that image as a Form, and use the ShowModal false command to lift it off the table. I've read some info on this but not enough to create a user form, attach the app and give it lift-off.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Even after many years of using Excel, forms is something I have never needed, so I know very little about creating and using.

After reviewing some of those ideas, I opted for an excel addon date-picker as easier to apply and use.

Found the solution

I downloaded and added the Mini Calendar and Date Picker by VERTEX42 and it came up with the name "Add-in 3". Could be any other name.
Then I added the following code to the Worksheet

Not sure why the Dim statement is there as it works without it.

The position can be changed by altering the 10 and 650 to whatever you need.
