I have just upgraded to access 2007 and it has created a problem. I have form1 open and when I double click a certain control in that form, it will open form2. The problem is that as soon as it opens form2 the focus will change back to form1. I need the focus to stay on form2. I even tried using the setfocus method to change the focus back to form2, but the focus always changes back to form1.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney

Hi

Not sure if you have resolved this question, have you looked behind the field to see if the events being used is the correct event. Use double click to open the form and possibly add a docmd.maximize to see if this resolves your question. If the on Dirty event has something in, maybe look to remove the event.
