I've written a macro that lists .pdf files in a root directory to an excel file. At the moment, users have to manually enter data for each file they add to the directory. I was wondering if it's possible to write a macro that, when run, will search through the directory for new files automatically?

Maybe I'm missing something but if you already have the macro that lists the files can't you just rerun the macro after any new files have been added? Or maybe have the macro run every night or something like that to update the spreadsheet?

Sorry, I wasn't very specific. Right now, I run the macro for each file that is being listed, meaning that each new file has to be located by the user. I'm hoping to find a way to have the macro locate new files.
