Font size of drop down list

When the dropdown list is shown for a cell to accept validated data only, the list is shown in very small characters. Whatever I do with the original data list, the character size remains very small. How can I change that?

As far as I'm aware there isn't a way to change the size of the text in the data validation drop-down.

Options:

• Design the workbook so that the data entry portion is shown at a zoom level of at least 100%.
• Use a vba (ActiveX) combobox.

In the data validation I believe you are stuck with the one size; however, look at this link and it may give you another idea.
