Does anyone know which font is used by Excel for the default system dialog boxes? For example, when being prompted to enable macros or saving changes to a document. I'm using Photoshop to create generic screenshots as part of our system documentation but haven't been able to get the font exactly right.

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
On my system (Windows XP) it's Tahoma 9pt

You can see-set the font on the system dialog boxes from;
Control Panel\ Display\ Appearance tab\ click Advanced button

OK so it's not hard coded into Excel but defined within the OS. Good to know and makes sense now that I think about it. I just checked and it looks like the message box default on our work machines is Tahoma 8.

Thanks guys!
