I tried posting my question twice now and it keeps erroring out for some reason (i think it has to do with the HTML maker I was trying to use).

Anyway, I have an Excel file that lets me use Geocoding information for use with our map software. I use the resulting data to plot points on a map.

Question:
Is there a way to use conditional formating or some kind of number format to automatically force a negative value if another cell has an "S" (south) or "W" (west) in it?

Sorry, I tried to show a screen copy of the worksheet but it wouldn't let me.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

Erm... I think I just answered my own question:
I can change my conversion formula to use an IF statement and check for it.
