Force paste values only

Hi all,

i've set up the below macro to force anything pasted in a specific range of cells to only paste the values. This works fine when pasting form the same spreadsheet or from Word however if I try to paste anything from an external website/program it comes up with this error: PasteSpecial method of range class failed.

Sub PasteasValue()
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues
End Sub

Any ideas how I can fix that?
