I have a formula that is in a cell formatted to wrap text. Is there a way to specify within a formula for the cell to start a new line.

ie. if the formula was

Code:
="hello there"&"My name is George Bush's Mum"

Can I designate somehow for the cell to display the 2 seperate text strings on a seperate line within the word wrap formatted cell.

NB. I relaise this is a basic example and there would seem other ways to do it though the real situation is much more complex. I just want to know if it can be done :)

Cheers.....not George Bush's Mum ;)

Hi

Please try:

Code:
="hello there"&CHAR(10)&"My name is George Bush's Mum"

Don't forget to Format Cell> Alignment > Wrap Text

Hope this helps
