Hello, what are users using as an add-in to excel for forecasting, regression analysis and analyzing trends for a catalog company?

Thanks!

If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).

You need to be a bit more specific as to your requirements, Excel has lots of built in Statistical Functions:

Here's the list:

About statistical functions

Statistical worksheet functions perform statistical analysis on ranges of data. For example, a statistical worksheet function can provide statistical information about a straight line plotted through a group of values, such as the slope of the line and the y-intercept, or about the actual points that make up the straight line.

Hi,

Look at Excel functions: FORECAST, TREND, GROWTH AND CORREL (for correlation).

Search this site and Google for posts on these functions.

If you REALLY get stuck, I could email you an Excel workbook with some dummy data that illustrates the above functions. Contact me via a Private Message. This offer is made to you only.

Regards,

Mike
