I'm currently working on a forecasting sheet but am running into a slight problem over which I've been cracking my head. Problem is as follows:
the cattle comes in on date in column E and stays on feed for an average of 85days. However, the first sales date will be E+70days (50% of # heads, column D) and the final sales date will be E+100 (the remaining 50% of #heads). In my current formula the sales are spread out of a duration (column H). I have now been asked to make visible a split as per descriped above and am at a loss on how to do this. Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks!
PS column J=Dec-05, K=Jan-06, etc.
