Hey relative newbie to excel and stumped! I have a trendline forecasting question that I have no idea how to solve...

I have a group of stats for 4 years:

2006 - 327
2007 - 337
2008 - 325
2009 - 332

I need to find a baseline (average of the 4 years) in order to plan a 25% reduction by 2015.
I though I could use excel using a trendline?!
I have looked to maybe change the trendline equation substituting the "x" for the year...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hi and welcome.

You could use the FORECAST function to calculate a linear forecast.
Excel Workbook
ABCDEF
12006327YearForecast-25%
220073372015332.5249.375
32008325
42009332
