hi,

i am trying to use a form control scroll bar to input some numbers. the form control has a limit of 0 to 30,000 with an incremental change of 1. i wanted to use this to input values that are a) in millions e.g. 2 million or b) in percentages e.g. 0.6%

can you please suggest any way of doing it.

thank in advance.

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Use a formula in your "end result" cell to scale what the spin button control puts in the linked cell
ie: linked cell = 30,000 scale by * 100 = 3,000,000 for your max display value

Thank you! actually i wanted to use the form control on a different sheet in my financial model as a second input method. So the user would be able to input either in the cell itself or from the form control on another sheet. i think it wont be possible with the scaling option? Please do corret me if im wrong.

thank you,
