Format a cell based on cells in the same row

Hi
Is there a way, to format cell C10 to be green if any of the cells in the range D10:S10 contain text,
I have been trying conditional formatting, but cannot find a way to make it work

=counta(d10:s10)>0

counta - test to see if a cell is empty

or do you mean contains text and not a number
If TEXT then try using
=COUNTIF(D10:S10,"*")>0
