Format Imported Dates

I'm importing data from another source and I'm having a difficult time manipulating the data.

Problem

The date is being imported as 12/30/2005 9:45:30 AM. I'm not concerned about the time stamp for the reporting that I'm doing. How do I remove the time so the date is the only thing left?

I know I've done this in the past, but I'm drawing a blank.

You can you the to text fuction.. Select the text funciton and change the format to MM/DD/YYYY

This should work
