Hello Pros,

I came across a peculiar problem in excel 2007. I have an excel sheet which is formatted based on requirement.

Dates as Short Date,
Colored headers and
Condition Formatted on some columns.

The most frustrating thing is that after i do all the formats and save the spreadsheet in 97-2003(.xls)...,
if i re-open the sheet, to my surprise the sheet looks as not formatted..., no colors and all the cells are in

General (No Specific Format)

Even dates are converted to this format. I did this numerous times and was unable to find out the issue.

FYI: All the formulas work fine.

Help needed on this please...

Thanks,
Anil

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
