How can I format just one field in a pivot table with multiple fields?
I have the following pivot table in Excel 2007:
Layout: Compact
Style: Medium 9
Row Labels: Group, Color, Batch (top to bottom in that order)
Column Labels: Method, Analyte (top to bottom in that order)
Values: Sum of Result
This style (Med 9) displays "Group" as highlighted bold (black) font, "Color" as bold (black) font, and "Batch" as regular (black) font. I want all of the "Batch" rows (labels and data) to be formatted differently (blue font instead of black) from this canned pivot table style.
I attempted with VBA, but I can't figure out how to reference either/or the labels and/or data for just this field/item (or whatever the heck it is) for Batch. I also couldn't figure out how to do it with conditional formatting or editing/creating a style.
If there's a non-VBA way to do this, I'd love to hear it. But, even if there is, I'd also REALLY love to learn how to do it with VBA.
