Hi All,

I have a massive table with numbers that are percentages such as 1.1, 1.3, 4.5, 7.9 etc.

The problem is I need to insert the "%" sign to the right of the number.

If I change the format to %, 1 becomes 100%. This is not what I would like. 1 should become 1%. Is there a way to do this without having to create a help column for each column and deviding? Thank You!

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Put 100 in a cell, copy the cell and then select your data and paste values and choose the option for divide. Then format as a percent.

Hope that helps.

Put 100 in a blank cell and enter 100. Now copy the 100
Select the data (1.3, 4.5 etc) and click paste special, then click the divide radio button. Then you can format as %. Increase the decimals
