Format Problems When Inserting Rows in the Microsoft Timeline Template in Excel 2013

I am using the interactive timeline template from Microsoft and I am having problems getting formatting to stay when inserting rows. I have formatted the location and color of the various text boxes and when I insert a row, the text boxes for all the other data gets all screwed up. I have tried Options>Advanced>Chart>Properties follow chart data point for current workbook, but no difference.

Any thoughts?

Options>Advanced> Chart>Properties follow chart data point for current workbook
Uncheck that and you should be golden.

Unfortunately that doesn't do it. It doesn't matter how that option is set.
