Format values in memory and paste as Image: Possible?

I have a VBA application that has values in an array, structured much the same as a spreadsheet, with rows and columns.

My desired goal is to create a formatted version of this data and be able to paste it as an image rather than as actual values in cells.

One option I have is to write that data to Excel, format it, select the range, and Copy/Paste|Special as an emf file, but I'd like to save the intermediate step.

Question: can I apply formatting (bold, italics, etc) to the values in the array using VBA commands, take the formatted array, and paste it as an enhanced metafile image?

Hi Alan,

Unfortunately I don't have time to give you code for this at the moment, but I just want to assure you that yes, it can be done, and actually fairly easily. If you are in a hurry I recommend you ask for a quote from MrExcel to do it for you. If you have the patience--and you may have to repost your question--you should get an answer. I know there are lots of MVPs who know how to do this.
