Can a messagebox be formated to display a number with commas?

For example, say the following code returns a value of 4,000,000. Can the MsgBox be told to display as 4,000,000.00 instead of 4000000?

Code:
    Dim TotalVal As Long
    TotalVal = DSum("[TotalPrice]", "[SupplyLog]")
    MsgBox ("Total dolar value of all transactions $ " & TotalVal), vbInformation, "Title goes here"

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
MsgBox ("Total dolar value of all transactions $ " & TotalVal), vbInformation, "Title goes here"

I think it is like this

MsgBox (Total dollar value of all transactions " & format(totalVal,"Currency"), vbInformation, "Title goes here"

Make that

MsgBox ("Total dollar value of all transactions " & format(totalVal,"Currency"), vbInformation, "Title goes here")

You may need to take off the outer parentheses:

MsgBox "Total dollar value of all transactions " & format(totalVal,"Currency"), vbInformation, "Title goes here"

Otherwise VBA will expect an = sign (using parentheses turns MsgBox into a function)

Thank you all for the responses. Now that work has slowed down to a dull roar I'll have an opportunity to give them a try.
